Man charged with manslaughter in Phoenix mobile home fire

A man has been arrested in connection with a fire at a Phoenix mobile home that left two people dead.

The fire occurred on November 24 around 9:45 am 24th Street and Union Hills Drive.

Firefighters started to extinguish the flames two people were found dead. Only two men have been identified, one in his 30s and the other in his 30s.

Investigators say after processing the scene and conducting interviews, they arrested 22-year-old Joel Hernandez Anaya.

“In a post-Miranda interview, Joel made incriminating statements and was booked into the Maricopa County Jail on multiple charges, including two counts of reckless manslaughter, a Class 2 felony, and two counts of attempted murder, a Class 3 felony.” Phoenix The police said.
