Shrima Rai-Shweta Bachchan

Aishwarya Rai’s sister-in-law Shrima Rai became the target of trolls on social media after she shared a photo of flowers sent to her by Abhishek Bachchan’s sister Shweta Bachchan and her husband Nikhil Nanda. After reports of Abhishek and Aishwarya’s divorce, she was blamed for causing a rift in the Bachchan family. Shrima is the wife of Aditya Rai, Aishwarya’s brother.

Now, Shrima has posted a long note on her Instagram explaining her stand on the matter. Her note reads: “Facts. My birthday was November 21st and flowers were sent as usual. I thanked everyone with a shout. Before becoming a blogger/content creator, I was a banker at Wealth Management for several years. GladragsMrs. India Globe 2009. After 2017, I switched to blogging. I have NEVER tried to start any business under anyone’s name.

“I’m explaining some things because these are the facts. I’ve built a freelance career as a content creator over the years, and as a woman, I think it’s in poor taste to try to disprove that fact. mother-in-law and parents can confirm this. As a mother, it is extremely important to me that the facts are clear when my name is involved,” she further added.

Meanwhile, Abhishek and Aishwarya’s divorce rumors started after she and Aaradhya arrived separately from the rest of the Bachchan family at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding in July this year. The rumors escalated when Abhishek liked an Instagram post about divorce titled “When love stops being easy.”
