Jerry Jones’ children involved in freak car accident outside stadium before 49ers game: report

Members of Jerry Jones’ family were injured in a freak car accident outside Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, before the Dallas Cowboys’ game against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

The Athletic reported that “a second vehicle in the Jones Family caravan” was struck by a “growing barricade” outside the stadium.

Jerry’s daughter, Charlotte Jones Anderson, and his son, Jerry Jones Jr., were in the car. and Charlotte’s son, Shy Anderson Jr.

The report added that Charlotte and Jerry Jr. were examined by the Cowboys’ team medical staff at the stadium and were allowed to move into the visiting owners’ suite for the game.

This evaluation reportedly revealed that Charlotte may have suffered rib injuries from the accident, while Jerry Jr. suffered a head injury, the Jones family told The Athletic.

The Jones family is usually seen at every Cowboys game during the season, traveling all over town to watch their team go to work no matter what day of the week.

Charlotte Jones serves as the Cowboys’ executive vice president and chief brand officer and is the first woman to serve as president of the NFL Foundation, which is responsible for philanthropic efforts across the sport.

jones jr. is the director of sales and marketing and executive vice president of the Cowboys.

All three of the Jones children co-own the franchise, with Stephen Jones serving as chief operating officer.

The Jones family was heading to the Bay Area in hopes that Dak Prescott and the Cowboys would do better than they did last season at Levi’s Stadium after a 42-10 loss to the 49ers on Oct. 8, 2023.

The Cowboys are 3-3 on the year after being crushed by the Detroit Lions two weeks ago before their bye week.

With the Washington Commanders 6-2 and the Philadelphia Eagles 5-2, the Cowboys know they have to keep pace if they want to compete for the NFC East title they won in 2023.
