One is dead, the other was transported in the Marmet disaster

MARMET, Va. (WSAZ) – One person has died and another was taken to a local hospital after a crash in Marmet, West Virginia.

Early Monday morning, two cars collided head-on, according to the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office. We received the report just after 1 a.m

The roadway at 7891 MacCorkle Avenue Southeast in Marmet – in the Capitol Ford area – is currently closed and deputies do not know when it will reopen.
