Two people died in separate accidents in Hetauda

On Friday, two people lost their lives in Hetauda in separate incidents.

Janak Rai, 68, of Hetauda-6, died of injuries after being hit by an auto-rickshaw at Chaugadha along Kanti Lokpath. He was taken to hospital but died during treatment. The police detained the rickshaw driver, 31-year-old Shankar Karki, for investigation.

In another incident, Mangal Singh Chepang, 38, of Manahari Rural Municipality-8, was electrocuted by a fallen 11,000 volt high voltage wire. He died on the spot.

Indra Maya Magar, 40, also suffered minor injuries after coming into contact with a live wire. Her condition is reportedly stable.
