At least eight Israelis injured in West Bank shooting – Al-Manar TV Lebanon

At least eight Israelis were wounded in the shooting of an Israeli bus near the West Bank settlement of Ariel, Israeli media reported, adding that the attacker was martyred after being shot by Israeli occupation forces.

The Magen David Adom Ambulance Service is sad that four Israelis were hit by gunfire, including three in a serious condition and one in a moderate condition. She added that the other four were slightly injured by a shard of glass.

Israeli media initially reported that two armed men attacked a bus at the so-called Giti Avisar intersection, near the West Bank settlement of Ariel.

Israeli occupation forces shot the attacker at the scene, The Times of Israel reported, adding that a large number of forces began chasing the potential second gunman.

However, an Israeli military source said that after scanning the area where the shooting occurred, the army ruled out the possibility of a second attacker.

“Only one gunman carried out the attack and was shot dead on the spot,” the source said, according to The Times of Israel.
