Deputies: A medical emergency led to a crash on SR 96 near Eastview Mall

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office provided an update on a crash that occurred over the weekend on State Route 96 in Victor.

On Sunday around 11 a.m., first responders from the Sheriff’s Office, Fishers Fire Department and Victor Farmington Ambulance responded to the area of ​​Turk Hill Rd. and Eastview Mall for a report of an accident with unknown injuries.

Upon arrival, it turned out that a vehicle driven by Alan Pitman (75) from Webster had collided with a barrier. Deputies say he had health issues that led to the crash.

Litman was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.
