Motorcyclist taken to hospital with ‘potentially serious’ injuries after collision with car

Emergency services attended the scene at the junction of Pedmore Lane and St Peter’s Road. Stourbridgeon Sunday afternoon.

Two ambulances and the MERIT trauma team attended the scene and upon arrival they discovered a male motorcyclist who had suffered potentially serious injuries.

Medical teams treated the man at the scene and transported the man to Russells Hall Hospital for further assessment.

A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 12.19pm on Sunday after receiving a report of an RTC at the junction of Pedmore Lane and St Peters Road in Stourbridge. Two ambulances and the MERIT trauma team arrived at the scene. Crews arrived to find a motorcyclist who had been involved in a collision with a passenger car.

“The man suffered potentially serious injuries and received medical treatment at the scene before being taken to Russells Hall Hospital for further assessment.”

West Midlands Police also took part. A spokesman for the armed forces said no arrests had been made.
