Are ballot selfies legal in Kentucky?

Selfies are, of course, present on social media. So are selfies of people posing with their voting stickers or outside early voting sites starts to appear.

In Kentucky, take as many ballot selfies as you want. In 2016, Kentucky’s attorney general issued an opinion that no law in the state prohibits taking selfies while voting and there is no reason to believe that doing so would jeopardize the secrecy of the ballot, – reported the Louisville Courier-Journal..

Can I wear a campaign T-shirt or hat to vote in Kentucky?

NO. You must not campaign or attempt to influence another person’s vote within 30 meters of a polling station. Therefore, you cannot wear hats, T-shirts, buttons or any other candidate-supporting accessories when voting. Election officials may ask you to cover your election shirt with a jacket or turn it inside out.

What ID do I need to bring to vote in Kentucky?
