Erin Foster tells Adam Brody she was ignored by the cast of ‘The O.C.’

Decades before Netflix’s success Nobody wants thatcreator Erin Foster and the star of the series Adam Brody crossed paths beyond OC – whether he remembers it or not.

During a recent episode of “The World’s First Podcast,” which he co-hosts with his sister Sarah FosterErin, 42, talked to Brody, 44, about her experiences on the set of the popular teen drama, which Brody starred in for all four seasons until the series ended in 2007.

In an interview, Brody admitted that he didn’t know Erin appeared on the show OCsaying, “I assumed it was Sarah.” In response, Erin joked, “I don’t know what’s more insulting, because I didn’t know I did it or I thought it was Sara.”

“I was trying to be an actress,” continued Erin, who noted that Brody was not in her scenes. “I had red hair and a different nose, so you don’t have to worry about not remembering who I am. We had never worked together and I was angry. Like, I was really bad on the show and I had very minimal scenes and none of them were with you, they were all with you Mischa (Barton)I think, and (Cam Gigandet as Kevin Volchek), the guy who played my boyfriend.

She added that she was “so low on the totem pole” in the short time she was on the show, and Sara laughingly stated that Erin wasn’t allowed to talk to anyone on set.

Erin agreed, adding, “I wasn’t allowed to talk to anyone on set OC. I have one memory where someone came to the makeup trailer and said, “I’m ordering Nobu, who wants it?” And they just walked past me like I wasn’t allowed to order.

In response, Brody joked, “I don’t think I’ll ever wear Nobu OC“

Erin continued, “I really didn’t want you to find out because I didn’t want you to lose respect for me as a loser guest star on the show OC when I was trying to convince you to trust me with a piece of art we were going to make together.

Brody, who stars alongside a hot rabbi Kristen Bellan agnostic podcaster about sex in a romantic comedy series, took it all in stride and told Erin, “There are so many people I have worked with who have usurped me. And now you are one of them.”
