The Pittsburgh Steelers are missing a promising rookie WR for a few weeks due to injury

Pittsburgh Steelers rookie wide receiver Roman Wilson will be sidelined for at least the next four games as the team placed him on the bench with injuries. Wilson won’t be able to return until after the team’s game against the Cleveland Browns on November 21. However, there are doubts as to whether this will happen as sources say, as Wilson suffered a significant Grade 2 hamstring tear and could miss as many as six weeks with the injury.

Wilson was first injured before the game against the New York Jets, but worsened during Wednesday’s practice. He missed three consecutive training sessions and was ruled out of the game against the Giants.

Wilson missed eight weeks after spraining his ankle in training camp. He only appeared against the Las Vegas Raiders and played just five snaps. Head coach Mike Tomlin said he needed to continue to see Wilson work in practice to gain more playing time, but the injury put a complete stop to that.

Now the Steelers may be more eager than ever to replace their wide receiver following Wilson’s injury.
