Dallas Cowboys defensive end Sam Williams is out for the season with a torn ACL and anterior cruciate ligament (MCL). he suffered during training camp in July, but reportedly would not have been able to play in the next three games even if he had been healthy.

NFL Network Ian Rapoport announced Monday that the NFL had suspended Williams for three games for violating its personal conduct policy. He will be on the bench due to injury.
