A Tennessee high school dismisses some students because of water problems

WINCHESTER, Tenn. (WSMV) – Franklin County High School (FCHS) is dismissing some students due to water issues Tuesday afternoon.

The school announced early layoffs for car and pickup truck drivers at 1 p.m. due to the water problem. FCHS did not detail what the problem was, which could prompt layoffs.

Meanwhile, bus passengers remained on campus and were given access to available restrooms.

“Please remember that we cannot allow students to leave school with other students. If you would like your student to leave school with another student, you must contact the Franklin County High School Attendance Office,” FCHS said.
