Clemson Tigers coach Swinney provides promising updates on the injured star

It’s been a spectacular season so far for Clemson Tigers and veteran head coach Dabo Swinney.

After getting stuck out of the gate and losing the attack Bulldogs from GeorgiaThe Tigers found their footing and began running towards the finish line, with no other obstacles that had previously hindered their progress.

Even after the team’s easy road to a 6-1 overall record and a 5-0 record in the Atlantic Coast Conference, Clemson still faced plenty of adversity on the injury front.

A key offensive player who was missing the last two games was freshman receiver Bryant Wesco.

Wesco missed the Tigers’ last two games against Virginia Cavaliers and Wake up deacons of forest demons after he was hit during a victory over the team on October 5 Florida State Seminoles.

On his weekly radio show Monday night, Coach Swinney provided a promising update on the young players’ recovery so far.

“I work every day, but today was a good day,” Swinney said. “He had a good week. He was obviously one of those guys that we really hope will come back and be ready to go. I started the week well today, but I definitely have a long week ahead of me. “

Wesco has accumulated 262 yards and two touchdowns on 11 catches in the first five games of his college career, averaging 23.8 yards per catch.

The receiver was a key target for quarterback Cade Klubnik on the field, and keeping him healthy throughout the game will go a long way in helping the team remain undefeated in conference play.

The Clemson Tigers are fighting back Louisville Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN this Saturday in a game that will significantly impact the ACC rankings.
