TTC bus and truck collide, 8 people injured

Eight people were injured after a pickup truck collided with a TTC bus in North York overnight.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Finch Avenue and Yonge Street.

Toronto police said seven people from the bus, including the driver, were injured and one person from the truck was injured.

Toronto Emergency Services said they transported six people. Three of them with serious injuries were taken to a trauma center, and three others with less serious injuries were taken to local hospitals. Police do not believe any of the injuries are life-threatening.

According to police, one person was arrested after a short foot chase.
