DICKINSON, N.D. (KFYR) – A 56-year-old Dickinson man is dead following an officer-involved shooting in the 400 block of 10th Street East late Friday evening.

Around 9 p.m., officers were sent to one of the apartments to report a domestic disturbance. After entering the house, the officers encountered a man armed with a gun.

Both the man and Dickinson Police Officer fired their weapons. The man suffered injuries and was transported to CHI St. Hospital. Alexius, where he was pronounced dead.
