Police say a pedestrian was fatally struck by a driver in Atlantic County

Police are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian in South Jersey Friday night.

The victim of the fatal collision has not been further identified.

The crash occurred around 7:20 p.m. in the area of ​​South White Horse Pike and Lakeview Avenue in Hammonton.

The car leaving the scene after the crash is believed to be a 2013-2015 white and silver four-door BMW 3 Series sedan, Hammonton police said. – wrote in the statement.

Police officials said the vehicle “is strongly believed to have front-end damage, specifically to one of the headlights or fog lamps.” They said he was last seen heading east on White Horse Pike.
