A driver suffered “life-threatening” injuries in a three-car crash near Mintlaw

A 40-year-old man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a three-car collision on the A950 in Aberdeenshire.

The crash involving a red Nissan Pixo, a red Ford Fiesta and a black Ford Escort occurred Saturday about a mile from Mintlaw just before 6:30 p.m.

The 40-year-old escort driver was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where his condition remains life-threatening.

The female driver of the Pixo and two female passengers in the Fiesta were also taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
