Milwaukee Bucks coach Doc Rivers speaks out in Kamala Harris’ new ad

Milwaukee Bucks head coach Doc Rivers talks about Vice President Kamala Harris’ new TV ad that will play during sporting events in Wisconsin, the campaign announced Sunday.

“In this city, we have experienced difficult times and heard great promises” – Rivers, who is not seen in the film announcementsays in voiceover. “But empty promises don’t build cities. We do it – with sand, sweat and cold beer.”

The ad references the Trump-backed deal with Foxconn that would create up to 13,000 jobs in Mount Pleasant, about 50 miles south of Milwaukee. The video also played during the Democratic National Convention took aim at Trump over Foxconn’s unfulfilled promises.

The ad also focuses on former President Donald Trump’s remarks from earlier this year calling Milwaukee a “scary city” prior to the Republican National Convention held at Fiserv Forum.

Trump praised Milwaukee during the campaign at Discovery World earlier this month and plans to host rally at the Fiserv Forum later this week.

During the final 10 days of the presidential race, Trump is also expected to introduce a Wisconsin sports figure: former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre will Special guest at Trump rally in Green Bay on Wednesday.

Rivers Last week I campaigned with the second gentleman, Doug Emhoffwhere he told the story of meeting Harris when she was attorney general of California and he was coaching the Los Angeles Clippers.

Harris’ campaign says the new ad will target sports fans on channels like Fox Sports, CBS Sports and Sling. A similar ad is airing in Philadelphia.

The Trump campaign also announced: two-minute ad which will air during Sunday’s Philadelphia Eagles-Cincinnati Bengals game, in which they will appear UFC CEO Dana White’s remarks at the RNC.
