Two Tyrone men have died in a crash near Castlefinn

Two men were killed and three other people injured in a two-car crash in County Donegal, near the border with Northern Ireland.

The incident happened on the N15 road in Liscooley, near Castlefinn, at around 10pm local time on Friday.

Locally, they refer to the men who were traveling in the same car as Ryan Glenn and Gordy Galbraith. They were both over 30 years old.

They are both believed to be from the town of Castlederg in County Tyrone.

A man and a woman in their 70s, traveling in the second vehicle, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

According to the gardaí (Irish police), the 30-year-old woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The local parish priest of Crossroads in Killygordon, Fr., was present at the scene of the crash. Patsy Arkinson.

He told RTÉ that locals were “shocked and hurt” after the incident.

Gardaí have appealed to any witnesses or road users who may have footage from cameras in the area at the time of the collision to contact them.
