Law student found dead under suspicious circumstances in Hyderabad

The body of a 20-year-old law student was found in an office in Moosarambagh, Malakpet, on Monday. Although the police suspect it was suicide, her family accuses her of a crime and demands a thorough investigation.

Islavath Shravya, who worked as a part-time teleresponder for a local company, was found around noon on Monday. After the incident, Malakpet police reached the spot and sent the body to Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem.

“Preliminary findings suggest that Shravya may have committed suicide. However, her family and relatives strongly dispute this theory, insisting that she would not have taken her own life. Further investigation is ongoing and we will change the sections as agreed,” the police said.

Authorities are currently awaiting an autopsy report to continue their investigation. Further actions are underway to clarify the circumstances of the death.
