Bail was set at ,000. dollars for a Cleveland man accused of shooting at a barber shop

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A man accused of shooting a barber at Urban Kutz Barbershop earlier this month pleaded not guilty during his arraignment in Cuyahoga County Superior Court on Monday.

Al Ferguson, 41, is charged with tampering with evidence, discharging a firearm in or near prohibited premises and committing a felony.

Ferguson allegedly entered the store at 11100 Detroit Ave. on Sunday, November 10.

He didn’t have money for a haircut and during the confrontation, Ferguson allegedly pulled out a 9mm handgun and shot at one of the barbers.

Ferguson also allegedly shot four to five times outside the business before fleeing.

Police reported no injuries.

The next hearing was scheduled for December 4.
