Former Arizona Coyotes player Paul Bissonnette was attacked at a Scottsdale restaurant

Ex Arizona coyotes Police said TNT player, podcaster and hockey analyst Paul Bissonnette was attacked by six men at a Scottsdale restaurant on Sunday night.

The attack on November 24 took place at Restaurant in Houston near McDonald Drive and Scottsdale Road around 7:30 p.m

“There was an altercation with six adult men and management in the restaurant. Paul Bissonnette reportedly tried to help management calm down the men and get them to leave. The situation escalated into the men attacking Paul Bissonnette both inside and outside the restaurant, “Scottsdale Police Sgt. – said Allison Sempsis.

Six men were arrested and charged with assault and disorderly conduct. They have not been identified.

As for Bissonnette’s injuries, Scottsdale police are not detailing how serious they are, but say they are not life-threatening. He was taken to hospital for tests.

There is no further information about the robbery.

Bissonnette played for the Arizona Coyotes from 2009 to 2014. Host of the hockey podcast on Barstool Sports Spitting Chiclets he is also an NHL analyst and host on TNT.

The former NHL team left Arizona after last season due to management issues and currently plays in Salt Lake City as the Utah Hockey Club.

WX, bar president Dave Portnoy exchanged text messages with Bissonnette in which he claims he was attacked by seven men, adding that he “took a little but gave more.”

FOX 10 reached out to Bissonnette and his representative but has not heard back.
