Garth Brooks Makes A Surprise Appearance On ‘Kimmel’ Due To His Ongoing Sexual Assault Case

Garth Brooks he unexpectedly appeared in Monday’s (November 25) episode of the program Jimmy Kimmel Live!where, despite recent legal problems, he gave a mini-concert for fans.

The country music star sat down with the host Jimmy Kimmel before performing at a free outdoor event. In an interview, Brooks talked about himself and his wife: Trisha YearwoodThanksgiving traditions, a residency in Las Vegas, hearing one of his songs on the radio for the first time, and building a wooden bridge with his three daughters.

He then took the stage to perform a few songs, including an upbeat rendition of “Fishin’ in the Dark” by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.

Before the show, Brooks tweeted a behind-the-scenes photo, writing: “Behind the scenes of @JimmyKimmelLive! We have the whole team here today!!! love, g.

However, the late evening performance and concert almost didn’t happen. The concert was first announced on November 15, but a few days later, fans who had secured tickets received an email informing them that the event had been canceled.

“Unfortunately, Garth Brooks’ outdoor mini-concert at Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday, November 25, has been canceled and will no longer continue as planned. “Decisions regarding television production may change for a variety of reasons,” the company said in a statement, per “Nas” weekly..

Then, in a sudden change of direction, on Friday, November 22, ABC announced that Brooks would appear on the show Kimmeland the mini-concert started again.

Many fans speculated that both decisions were due to the sexual assault and battery charges that Brooks is currently facing. In October, the singer’s former hair and makeup artist accused Brooks of raping her during a business trip to Los Angeles in 2019, as well as sending her sexually explicit text messages and repeatedly showing her his genitals.

Brooks denied all allegations and said “Nas” weekly. last month: “For the past two months, I have been relentlessly harassed with threats, lies and dire stories about my future if I didn’t write a multi-million dollar check. It was like someone was waving a loaded gun in my face.”

“Hush money, no matter how much or how little, is still hush money. In my opinion, this means that I am admitting to behavior that I am not capable of – ugly actions that no human should ever do to another,” he added. “We filed a lawsuit against this individual almost a month ago to oppose extortion and defamation of character. We filed this anonymously for the sake of the families on both sides.”

Elsewhere on Monday’s show, Kimmel mocked former Rep. Matt Gaetz for dropping out of the running for the nomination Donald Trumphe took over as attorney general last week and joined Cameo.

“Last week he was the congressman nominee for attorney general,” Kimmel said. “This week she is begging for money on the same website as the lady from Chimp Crazy and Rizzler.”

Despite being nominated by Trump, Gaetz withdrew from running following accusations of sex trafficking involving minors, drug use and paying Venmo for sex with various women.
