The daughter was traveling from Maui to New York to visit family on November 8 and missed her connecting flight at LAX. She apparently went to The Grove mall on November 10, where she attended a Nike event, from which she posted a photo on her Instagram page.

Her family says she returned to Los Angeles on November 11, but apparently did not board the plane. It was on that day that the family started receiving strange text messages from her.

“Hannah’s last message to us was disturbing – she mentioned that she was scared and that someone might be trying to steal her money and identity,” the family said. “We have not heard from her since then and we are seriously concerned about her safety.”

The missing person’s aunt, Larie Pidgeon, told USA Today that the messages her family received were unusual, including “weird things, calling us honey, things that weren’t exactly the normal way she talks.”

Family members recently said they had obtained surveillance footage of her in the area of ​​a downtown metro station near the Crypto.com Arena, although it was unclear when exactly the footage was recorded. The family said that based on the footage, “it is obvious that Hannah does not appear to be in good condition and is not alone.”

A vigil for her was held in downtown Los Angeles on Thursday, and the search for her continues.
