Shreveport man accused of hitting his father in the head with a brick

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – The Shreveport Police Department has made an arrest in connection with a violent domestic case.

SPD officials say that on Sunday, November 24, at approximately 7 p.m., officers were called to a domestic disturbance at a home in the 6500 block of Quilen Boulevard. This is in the city’s Sunset Acres neighborhood.

The victim reportedly told police he got into an argument with his son, Jordan Pequeno. Shortly after the argument, Pequeno returned home, took a brick from outside and hit the victim in the head. Police say the attack resulted in visible head trauma and bleeding.

OTHER CRIMES IN ARKLATEX

The fire brigade was called to the scene and provided medical assistance. Even though he was told he needed stitches, the victim refused.

Officers searched the area and found Pequeno near Sunset Acres Park. He was arrested without incident and charged with domestic battery with a dangerous weapon.
