Tragic death of a 10-month-old child in Afragola

A 10-month-old girl died in her bed. An angel who flew to heaven too early. Sudden illness in her home, in the Salicelle district of Afragola (Naples). And although there was not even the slightest scratch on the little body, by order of the judge on duty at the Northern Naples Prosecutor’s Office, headed by Maria Antonietta Troncone, it was taken to the mortuary of the Civil Hospital of San Giuliano in Giugliano, where an autopsy will be performed in the coming hours. A test that could precisely explain the cause of the girl’s death, which we currently classify as a natural cause. Agents of the Afragola Police Station headed by Deputy Commissioner Gianvito Zazo are on site. The autopsy will clarify the course of the incident. From what agents were told, the girl, who had shown no particular problems until the previous evening, was pale, in a cold sweat, and her breathing was short and labored. The father immediately called the 118 operations center, “asking” for an ambulance to be sent immediately. However, rescue efforts were in vain. The agents’ findings show that the most likely hypothesis regarding the cause of the child’s death remains death from natural causes.
