The couple ended their lives in Nagaram-Telangana today

Police said Bodige Shankar (50) and his wife Sujatha (45) were found hanging at their home around 5 p.m. Neighbors discovered the couple and alerted authorities, who broke down the door and moved the bodies to the hospital. The couple, who had two daughters, lived alone because their daughters were married.

Peddapalli: A husband and wife died allegedly by suicide in Manthani’s Nagaram mandal on Monday evening.

According to police, Bodige Shankar (50) and his wife Sujatha (45) hanged themselves at their home around 5 p.m. Neighbors who found the hanging couple informed the police, who broke the door and took the bodies to the hospital. The couple had two daughters, but they were left alone because the daughters got married.


It is said that Sujatha, who was struggling with health problems, decided to end her life. Unable to live without his wife, Shankar also decided to end his life, after which both of them took the extreme step.
