Report: Chris Bey Needed Surgery After Injury During TNA TV Taping

There is an update for Chris Bey.

Bey suffered the injury on Sunday during a TNA television taping at Wayne State Fieldhouse in Detroit. The nature of his injury and how it occurred are unclear, but after ABC’s game against The Hardys, he was fitted with a neck brace and dragged off the pitch.

According to a report from Fighting choiceBey was taken to hospital where he underwent surgery to treat his injury. He is said to be recovering well after surgery, but details are unknown.

Bey has been with TNA since 2018. He is a former X-Division Champion and has won the TNA World Tag Team Championships three times with his partner Ace Austin. On Saturday, he and Austin wrestled Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers of The System and Matt and Jeff Hardy in a Full Metal Mayhem match at TNA Bound for Glory. The Hardys won the match and the TNA tag team titles for the third time.
