One person was taken to the hospital after a crash on Highway 115, causing delays Monday morning

EL PASO COUNTY — A traffic accident is causing delays on Highway 115 just before Gate 5 in Fort Carson Monday morning.

According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash was called around 6:34 a.m. and involved two vehicles at the intersection of Highway 115 and Pine Oaks Road.

State Patrol confirms one driver was taken to the hospital, his condition and extent of injuries are unknown.

A road camera installed in the area shows that the services have removed the failure from the intersection and traffic has been operating normally since 7:15.
