As a result of the shooting in Rosamond, one is dead and another is injured

Two people were found shot to death in the same area early Sunday morning in Rosamond. Both were taken to hospital, where one person later died.

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office reports that on October 27, 2024, at approximately 1:20 a.m., the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received multiple 911 calls regarding a shooting at 3400 15th Street West in Rosamond.

When officers arrived, they found a person, identified as a man, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was taken to Antelope Valley Hospital. He died as a result of his injuries.

KCSO reported that another person, identified as a man, was found in the area suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital for medical attention.

KCSO said they believe the two incidents are related.
