Man seriously injured in Minneapolis shooting, suspect in custody

A man was seriously injured after a shooting in Minneapolis on Monday evening.

On Monday, law enforcement responded to a report of a shooting at 3500 Columbus Avenue.

A 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS photographer captured Minneapolis officers surrounding a home and trying to communicate with someone. At one point, a drone flew into the apartment.

Law enforcement officials say the shooting suspect fled the scene and has not been arrested.

Police say no other victims were found at the scene.
