Pedestrian injured in hit and run in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – The Colorado Springs Police Department says a pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run Monday evening.

Police said they were alerted to the crash around 8:05 p.m. at Circle and Pikes Peak.

The car hit a pedestrian and the driver fled the scene. Police said the pedestrian had a broken leg.

As of 9:35 p.m., police are still looking for the driver who hit and ran. No suspect description has been released.
