Pedestrian struck and killed by vehicle on New Jersey highway

Officials said a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on Route 73 in Maple Shade on Monday evening.

According to state police, a person was struck at 11:23 p.m.

A Maple Shade police spokesman said they are working to gather additional information.

The accident occurred on the north side, near Meadow Lane, – 6abc.com reported.

The fatal accident in the town of less than 4 square miles is the first since July 18, 2021, when A 33-year-old pedestrian was hit by a carAccording to accident data, including on Route 73.
