Belpre man arrested on suspicion of sexual assault of a minor among those indicted by a Wood County Grand Jury

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – A Belpre man facing sexual assault charges has been indicted before a Wood County Grand Jury.

October 29 Kevin WilsonBelpre, Ohio, was indicted during a special session of the Wood County Grand Jury. Wilson was arrested in September 2024 on charges of sexual assault of a minor.

The following charges were brought against him:

  • First degree sexual assault
  • 2 counts of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian or guardian
  • First degree sexual abuse

Wilson was among 18 people charged Tuesday.

Other accusations include:

  • Virgil Denver Adkins for destruction of property and domestic violence.
  • Brian Allen Allman for burglary, brandishing a deadly weapon and two counts of eluding.
  • Michael Allen Bailey for burglary, petit larceny, receiving or transmitting stolen goods, conspiracy to commit a felony and conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor.
  • Thomas Michael Underwood for burglary, petit larceny, receiving or transmitting stolen goods, conspiracy to commit a felony and conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor.
  • Greggory Scott Baker for burglary and two counts of theft.
  • Derek Robert Chirsman for domestic battery (third offense) and violating a protection order (second offense).
  • Christopher Maurice Davis for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, three counts of delivery of a controlled substance (second offense), and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (second offense).
  • John Nathaniel Dillard for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (second offense), obstructing an officer and possession of a controlled substance.
  • Christopher Wayne Hutson on three counts of wanton endangerment involving a firearm, persons prohibited from possessing a concealed firearm, persons prohibited from possessing a firearm, obstructing an officer, intimidating a witness and assault.
  • Stephanie Patricia Maggi for domestic battery (third offense).
  • Sherman L. McPherson for failure to file notice of change in registration (second offense).
  • Robert Daniel Pennel, III, for two counts of person prohibited from possessing a concealed firearm, two counts of person prohibited from possessing a firearm, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
  • Adam Lee Sams for two counts of criminal damage to property, two counts of burglary and two counts of conspiracy to commit a crime.
  • Michael Patrick Sullivan for two counts of distributing or showing obscene material to minors, obstructing officers and indecent exposure.
  • Gary Leonard Travis for five counts of battery on a health care worker (third offense), two counts of battery on a health care worker (third offense), and criminal damage to property.
  • James Edward Wallbrown Jr., for battery on a law enforcement officer (third offense), assault on a law enforcement officer, obstructing an officer, brandishing a deadly weapon and fleeing a police officer.
  • Darrell Arthur Yeator for criminal damage to property, first-degree robbery, grand larceny and two counts of battery.
