Crash at 81st and Hampton, children injured

Three people, including two 5-year-old children, were injured Friday evening in a crash on Milwaukee’s north side.

MILWAUKEE – On Friday evening, October 25, an accident in Milwaukee injured three people, including two five-year-old children.

According to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner, FOX6 learned later Sunday that one of those five-year-old children had died.

The incident happened around 8 p.m. near 81st and Hampton. Police said the car was traveling west on Hampton Avenue when it collided with two unoccupied cars and a tree.

According to the police, two five-year-old children were traveling in the car that was involved in the accident. They were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The 34-year-old driver was also taken to hospital, his life is not in danger. The police then detained the driver. The district prosecutor’s office will consider the charges.
