Husband and wife state troopers were seriously injured in a crash in Virginia

PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. – Four people were seriously injured in a head-on collision on Route 460 Tuesday night, including two off-duty state troopers, sources told Crime Insider’s Jon Burkett. The husband and wife soldiers are expected to recover. Information about the other two people injured in the accident has not yet been released.

Prince George Fire Department officials confirmed that the crash occurred around 8 p.m. in the 8600 block of Route 460.

The accident, which involved two vehicles, resulted in serious injuries, and emergency services transported one of the injured to a trauma center by helicopter.

Burkett’s sources said the off-duty soldiers had broken bones, but no further details were given about their conditions.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
