Former GTA RP NoPixel creator DW lost $150,000 lawsuit against Koil

Former GTA RP NoPixel creator DW lost 0,000 lawsuit against Koil

Former NoPixel developer DW has lost his massive lawsuit against owner Koil almost two years after it was filed.

If you’ve ever watched GTARP stream, you are most likely familiar with NoPixel. This is the most popular RPG server, hosted by the biggest names on the GTA RP scene.

Many streamers and developers have come and gone from the server, including Daniel “DW” Tracey. He played the character of the same name DW in NoPixel and gained popularity among fans thanks to his streams that showed the developers’ work related to large events on the server.

However, he left NoPixel in 2023 and filed a lawsuit against long-time owner Koil Down damages amounting to $150,000. Nearly two years have passed since the lawsuit was filed, and a verdict was finally entered in Koil’s favor.

“On September 23, 2024, defendants Koil Content Creation Pty Ltd. and Mitchell Clout filed a motion for summary judgment,” the court filing reads.

“On October 18, 2024, the parties agreed that judgment would be entered in favor of Koil Content Creation Pty. Ltd. and Mitchell Clout. In light of the objection filed by the parties, it is hereby ordered that the motion be granted and summary judgment be entered in favor of defendants Koil Content Creation Pty Ltd. and Mitchell Clout against plaintiff That One Video Entertainment LLC.”

The judges ruled in favor of Koil in this trial.

Additionally, all hearing dates scheduled in this case were ordered to be cleared and removed from the calendar.

Of course, you can always file a supplemental lawsuit to reopen your case. However, for now the verdict has been in Koil’s favor, so DW would have to have a different point of view considering the failure in this case.
