The “Naked and Frightened” star dies in an accident at the age of 34

Former “Naked and Frightened” star Sarah Danser died on Tuesday at the age of 34 in a car accident in Hawaii.

The reality star, who appeared on the survival series in 2017, was killed when a 59-year-old man lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a parked car in Kahala, Honolulu. KSLA reports

Danser, who was sitting in the passenger seat, was taken to hospital in critical condition. She died of her injuries on October 22.

The car driver was taken to hospital on Sunday and his condition is now serious.

A woman who was in the parked vehicle was also hospitalized, and the man she was sitting next to refused treatment, Honolulu police said.

The police indicated that although speed was one of the causes of the accident, drugs or alcohol were not involved, the portal adds.

“Magical – that’s how you can describe her,” Sara’s brother, Jake Danser, told the portal. “Sarah had this positive energy about her that really filled the environment she was in.”

“I really saw what a difference she made in the lives of others. I think she saved my life once by diving in Indonesia,” added her father, Dan Danser.

The Post reached out to representatives of Warner Brothers Discovery, the network that airs the reality series, for comment.

At the time of her death, Sarah worked at Island Divers Hawaii. The diving center paid tribute following the news of her death.

“It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to a good friend and a great captain. Sarah brought tremendous energy to everyone she came into contact with. You will be greatly missed,” they say he wrote on Facebook Thursday.

The post was accompanied by a screenshot of Sara’s finale Uploading to Instagramwhich had a photo of her on a boat.

“Who recognizes this boat? Look who’s running it! ,” Sarah captioned the October 11 post.

Sarah identified herself on social media as a “pirate” and “boat captain, diver (and) survivalist.”

The Colorado native lived in Hawaii for 12 years before her death.

After appearing on “Naked and Afraid” in 2017, Sarah returned a year later in a spin-off titled “Naked and Afraid XL.”

She also took part in “Fight to Survive” last year.

Her “Naked and Afraid” co-star Melissa Lauren paid tribute, saying Sarah “was (one) of the most adventurous souls I’ve ever met.”

“Not only was she a fierce Naked and Afraid survivor (she graduated from XL with me in South Africa), but she was also a breast cancer survivor who maintained an inspiring and positive attitude throughout her treatment.”

“Relax, Sarah, I know you’re out there exploring,” Lauren added.
