Former EFF member Fana Mokoena is returning to acting

Legendary actress Fana Mokoena who recently left The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) announced their return to acting on social media.

MOKOENA FAN IS BACK ON SCREEN?

Sunday World reports that former EFF member and actress Fana Mokoena shared a photo of actors Warren Masemola and Desmond Dube and said he was honored to work with the two actors again.

“Two of the most spiritual artists in this proud land. Good brothers meet again, it’s always great,” wrote Mokoena.

This came after the 53-year-old left the EFF on October 17.

TimesLIVE reported that Mokoena resigned four months after taking the oath as a Member of the Seventh Parliament.

“We can confirm that the Speaker has received a letter of resignation from Mr Mokoena,” said parliamentary spokesman Moloto Mothapo.

The internationally acclaimed actor also left parliament in October 2020.

He first became an EFF MP in May 2014, representing the party in the National Council of Provinces, and then in August 2016 he moved to the National Assembly and worked until October 2020, when he resigned.
