Packers vs. Jaguars Best NFL Bets for Week 8 NFL (Back Jordan Love, Romeo Doubs

The Green Bay Packers are currently on track, moving to 5-2 on the season after their Week 7 victory over the Houston Texans.

Now they will face the double-victory Jacksonville Jaguars, who defeated the New England Patriots in Week 7.

Green Bay’s offense could be a challenge here, as the Jaguars allowed the second-most points in the NFL and third-most yards per play. That’s a good sign if you want to bet on Packers props, and I’m in week 8.

Moreover, it is worth taking a closer look at the debutant on Sunday.

DraftKings Sportsbook Odds.

BrianThomas Jr. anytime TD (+145)

Jaguars rookie Brian Thomas Jr. has four touchdowns in seven games and has quickly become the most targeted receiver in this offense.

Thomas has scored at least five goals in each of the last five games and has spent at least 64 percent of the team’s snaps in all competitions on the field.

After finding the end zone against New England, I think Thomas can do it again on Sunday against a Packers defense that has caught 10 passes in 2024.

Romeo contests OVER 3.5 receptions (-155)

Don’t sleep on Packers receiver Romeo Doubs, who looks like a different player since missing one game due to suspension.

Since then, in two games, Doubs has 11 catches for 143 yards and two scores, and in Week 8 he had eight catches on 10 targets.

He has three 3.5 receptions in six games this season, and the Jaguars are very easy to beat through the air, ranking him second in passer rating in the NFL. Trust Doubs to be hot on Sunday.

Jordan Love OVER 255.5 passing yards (-115)

SI NFL betting insider Iain MacMillan believes Packers quarterback Jordan Love could be in line for a big game in Week 8. In his article he explained why Player Prop Countdown column earlier this week: :

Jordan Love should be well positioned to absolutely torch the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jags secondary ranks last in EPA’s opponent putback rating and 26th in opponent putback success rate. They also allowed 7.6 yards per pass attempt, good for 30th in the NFL.

Jordan Love, who is already averaging a career-high 270.2 passing yards per game this season, has a strong receiving corps that can capitalize on the secondary in Jacksonville. If he reaches his season average in passing yards, this bet will be a winner.
