School telephone policies will be discussed in Keys

The minister has previously said she wants it to be introduced “at the beginning of the autumn term”.

An update on the Department of Education’s plans to ban cell phones in schools is expected this week on the House of Keys.

Earlier this year, Minister Daphne Caine revealed to Manx Radio that she planned to introduce the policy “at the start of the autumn term”.

Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse will ask for more details at a meeting on Tuesday (October 27).
