Jonathan Ross arrested after allegedly stealing a horse in Etowah County

BOAZ, Alabama (WAFF) – Boaz was arrested after allegedly stealing a horse.

According to the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office, an investigation was initiated after the owner reported the horse was missing.

Investigators said they worked to identify a suspect and eventually zeroed in on a person of interest.

Jonathan Ross, 42, of Boaz, was charged with second-degree theft of property, a felony.

Ross is being held at the Etowah County Detention Center. His bail is set at $2,500.
