Siarka allegedly hit a police car with a car, arrested for assault

CARTER COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) – A Sulpharm man was arrested in Carter County after he allegedly rammed police vehicles with his car.

According to court documents, the incident occurred Monday when 21-year-old Joshua Brown led four Ardmore and Chickasaw Lighthorse police officers on a chase.

The chase led through the streets of Ardmore, along Highway 77, then Highway 70 and I-35.

Court documents say Brown drove his car into two different police units with the intention of injuring officers.

Brown was charged with two counts of assault and battery on a police officer and one count of fleeing/attempting to escape from a police officer.

If convicted on all charges, he faces up to 11 years in prison.
