Robertson County Emergency Services collects groceries for a woman after she was injured in an accident

SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. (WSMV) – Robertson County Emergency Medical Services not only helped an injured woman after a crash, but also helped her collect her groceries, according to Smokey Barn News.

SBN reported that a 60-year-old woman suffered minor injuries after her car went down an embankment on Highway 49 East near Wilkes Road. Emergency medical services treated her injuries at the scene before she was transported to hospital for treatment following the accident.

However, before the accident, the woman had just purchased $400 worth of groceries, so Robertson County EMS decided to step in and help.

According to SBN, the crew collected her groceries and took them to the station for storage.

Robertson County Emergency Medical Services said it plans to deliver groceries to the woman after she is discharged from the hospital.

“According to EMS, its Little Debbie Christmas tree cookies may not be included, although the company insists it is joking (or maybe actually?),” SBN said.
