On Saturday, after the team’s morning practice, Milwaukee Bucks defenseman Andre Jackson Jr. crashed into an apartment building in downtown Milwaukee. The only vehicle involved in the crash was Jackson’s car.

Jackson reportedly received no medical attention and was not injured in the crash. There were no injuries as a result of the disaster.

Bucks director of communications Barry Baum released a statement Saturday night following the accident.

“After the team’s morning training session, Andre was involved in a single-vehicle accident. Andre was alone in his car,” Baum said via Milwaukee Journal Guardian. “Fortunately, no one was injured or required medical attention. Andre will join the team in New York for tomorrow’s match.”

It appears that the accident resulted in damage to the metal balustrade and brick wall of the residential building.

The crash is not expected to cause Jackson to miss. Plans call for Jackson to travel with the team to Sunday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets. The Bucks entered the match with a 1-1 record and were hoping for their second victory of the season.

The 22-year-old has yet to score a point for the Bucks in the first two games of the season. He appeared for just one minute in the Bucks’ first game of the season.

Jackson appeared in four Bucks games during the preseason, scoring seven points, 13 rebounds and two assists in four games.

Jackson has played 57 games for the Bucks in the 2023-24 season, starting eight of those games. In his debut season, he averaged 2.2 points, 2.0 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game.

The 6-foot-6 guard was selected No. 36 by the Orlando Magic in the 2023 NBA Draft. Magic traded Jackson to the Bucks on draft night. Before entering the NBA, Jackson played college basketball at UConn, helping the Huskies win the 2023 national championship.
