Winnipeg police are releasing information about an officer-involved shooting

The Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) is expected to provide information on Monday about a “critical officer-involved incident.”

At 9:15 a.m., WPS is holding a press conference at police headquarters to discuss Sunday’s incident, which left one officer injured.

This press conference comes after WPS announced that police shot and killed a suspect on Sunday after an officer was stabbed in the throat. Manitoba police are investigating.
