Aggravated assault charges have been filed against several suspects in Fort Smith

Steven L. Corbin, 57, of Bluff Avenue in Fort Smith, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of intentional domestic abuse and aggravated assault on a family or household member involving choking. Corbin remained in the Sebastian County Adult Detention Center on Tuesday on $1,500 bail.

Sunni D. Frisby, 39, of North 36th Street in Fort Smith, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of intentional domestic abuse. On Tuesday, Frisby remained in the Sebastian County Adult Detention Center on $2,450 bail.

Christopher B. Grimes, 22, of North 36th Street, Fort Smith, was arrested Tuesday on one count of aggravated assault on a family or household member involving choking. On Tuesday, Grimes remained in the Sebastian County Adult Detention Center with no bond set.

Jason A. Henderson, 48, of Kinkead Avenue in Fort Smith, was arrested Tuesday in connection with a Nov. 19 aggravated assault with a firearm. Henderson remained Tuesday in the Sebastian County Adult Detention Center on $2,500 bail.

Van Buren

Chase D. Whited of Van Buren was arrested Monday on two counts of aggravated assault, leaving the scene of an accident involving only vehicle damage and reckless driving. On Tuesday, Whited remained in the Crawford County Jail with no bond set.
