JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A 20-year-old man pleaded guilty after he was found with a machine gun following a high-speed chase.

Johnny Ragsdale, 20, of Jackson pleaded guilty Thursday to unlawful possession of a machine gun, according to court records.

Ragsdale was found in possession of an illegal machine gun after attempting to stop a vehicle in Jackson.

The 20-year-old refused to yield to law enforcement and led Capitol Police on a high-speed pursuit.

A Glock handgun was recovered from the vehicle and a machine gun conversion device, also known as a switch, was attached to the gun.
