A Morris man was transported to the hospital after a single-vehicle rollover Sunday afternoon.

According to RCMP, members of the Pembina Valley detachment received a report at 4:19 p.m. reporting a motor vehicle collision on Highway 23 near Myrtle.

The driver, a 36-year-old Morris man, was the only occupant of the vehicle. Police say he was heading west when he oversteered, causing the vehicle to roll into a ditch.

He was wearing a seat belt.

Police say he was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The RCMP issued a ticket to a man for driving without a valid registration certificate.

The Roland Fire Department also responded to the call.
